Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • Nutella (for filling)
  • Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt and bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour until it forms a dough.
  3. Allow to cool slightly, then beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or saucepan to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Use a piping bag to pipe small bites into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
  7. In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Drain churro bites on paper towels, then toss in cinnamon sugar.
  9. Fill each bite with Nutella using a piping bag.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!
