Ingredients

- 3½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2¼ teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1½ teaspoons salt
- 1⅓ cups warm water (105-115°F)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let stand for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture.
- Mix until combined, then knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap.
- Let rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
- Punch down dough and divide into 2 portions.
- Shape each portion into a pizza crust.
- Top as desired and bake at 500°F until crispy.
Notes
- Dough can be made by hand or with a stand mixer.
