Ingredients
- Fresh oranges (approximately 2-3 oranges per cup of juice)
- Clean airtight glass containers for storage
- Freezer-safe containers (if freezing)
Instructions
- Wash oranges thoroughly before juicing
- Squeeze oranges using your preferred method (hand juicer or electric juicer)
- Strain pulp if desired
- Transfer to an airtight glass container
- Refrigerate immediately or prepare for freezing
- If freezing, leave ½ inch headspace in container for expansion
Notes
- Fresh juice stays good for 2-3 days when refrigerated
- Consume within 24 hours for maximum vitamin retention
- Don’t freeze in commercial cartons – use proper freezer containers
- Separation is natural – just shake before serving
- Frozen juice retains 80% of vitamin C for 3-4 months
