- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups egg noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and bell peppers, sautéing until softened.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and half of the cheese. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and spread evenly.
- Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, experiment with different types of cheese or spices. You can also add vegetables like spinach for extra nutrition.
