Description

A comforting and satisfying casserole made with ground beef, creamy soups, and cheese, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and bell peppers, sautéing until softened.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and half of the cheese. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and spread evenly.
  6. Top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, experiment with different types of cheese or spices. You can also add vegetables like spinach for extra nutrition.
