- 1/4 teaspoon salt (1.5 g)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Line a cupcake tray with paper liners.
- In a small bowl, mix honey and milk until combined.
- Separate egg yolks from the whites.
- In a large bowl, beat egg yolks with sugar until pale and thick.
- Add honey and milk mixture, and vanilla extract to the yolks; blend well.
- Sift flour and salt into the yolk mixture; fold gently to combine.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the egg whites into the yolk mixture in three parts.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cupcake liners.
- Tap the tray lightly on the counter to remove air bubbles.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cupcakes cool in the tray for 5 minutes.
- Transfer cupcakes to a wire rack to cool completely.
