Description

A deliciously juicy ribeye steak enhanced with a sweet and tangy balsamic glaze, perfect for special gatherings or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar, honey, and minced garlic. Bring to a simmer and cook until reduced and thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.
  5. Brush the balsamic glaze over the steaks during the last minute of cooking.
  6. Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, and serve with extra glaze.

Notes

Let the steak rest after cooking to redistribute the juices. Slice against the grain for tenderness.
