Description
A deliciously juicy ribeye steak enhanced with a sweet and tangy balsamic glaze, perfect for special gatherings or weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Season both sides of the steaks with salt and pepper.
- In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar, honey, and minced garlic. Bring to a simmer and cook until reduced and thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.
- Brush the balsamic glaze over the steaks during the last minute of cooking.
- Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, and serve with extra glaze.
Notes
Let the steak rest after cooking to redistribute the juices. Slice against the grain for tenderness.
