- 1 pound beef (sliced)
- 8 ounces mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
- Add sliced beef to the skillet, cooking until browned.
- Stir in mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and paprika. Stir to combine and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour the mixture into a casserole dish. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and heated through.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, let the mixture simmer longer before adding sour cream. Garnish with fresh parsley or paprika for presentation.
