- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the minced garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the beef, mixing well.
- In a separate pot, steam or boil the cauliflower florets until tender.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, steamed cauliflower, heavy cream, and shredded cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For best results, steam the cauliflower to retain its nutrients and ensure it holds its shape.
