Description

A comforting casserole that combines protein-rich ground beef with nutrient-dense cauliflower, perfect for keto lifestyles.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the minced garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the beef, mixing well.
  4. In a separate pot, steam or boil the cauliflower florets until tender.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, steamed cauliflower, heavy cream, and shredded cheese.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For best results, steam the cauliflower to retain its nutrients and ensure it holds its shape.
