A delightful low-carb casserole that combines ground beef, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni for a classic pizza taste without the guilt.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, onions, etc.)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the marinara sauce and mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir to combine.
  4. In a baking dish, layer the beef mixture, followed by half of the mozzarella cheese and a layer of pepperoni.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, finishing with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, experiment with Italian seasoning or garlic powder. Top with crushed keto-friendly crackers for extra crunch.
