- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, onions, etc.)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the marinara sauce and mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir to combine.
- In a baking dish, layer the beef mixture, followed by half of the mozzarella cheese and a layer of pepperoni.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, finishing with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, experiment with Italian seasoning or garlic powder. Top with crushed keto-friendly crackers for extra crunch.
