Description

A comforting and flavorful Korean beef bowl featuring ground beef, soy sauce, and aromatic seasonings served over rice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • Cooked rice for serving
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, stirring occasionally to break up the meat.
  2. Drain excess grease from the skillet.
  3. Add the soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and sesame oil to the skillet.
  4. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken. Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli for extra nutrition.
