Ingredients

- 2/3 cup milk, room temperature
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- Activate yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar until foamy
- Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl
- Combine wet ingredients, then mix with dry ingredients
- Knead until smooth and elastic (8-10 minutes)
- Let rise until doubled (about 1 hour)
- Shape into a loaf or rolls
- Second rise for 30 minutes
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes
- Brush with melted butter while hot
Notes
- Can be made without a stand mixer by hand-kneading for 8-10 minutes
- Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for best results
- Can be made dairy-free using coconut oil and plant-based milk
- Bread is done when golden brown and internal temperature reaches 190-200°F
