- ¾ cup Granulated White Sugar
- 2 Juices of Ripe Lemons
- Lemon Zest from 2 Lemons
- 4 Lemons, Halved and Hulled
Instructions
- Hollow out the pulp of the four lemons. Set them aside to use as serving dishes or use ramekins.
- Combine the heavy cream and sugar in a small saucepan, stirring gently.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, cooking for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Stir in the fresh lemon juice.
- Pour the lemon cream mixture into the hollowed lemon cups or ramekins.
- Refrigerate until set, about 5 hours.
- Add finishing touches of fresh mint or lavender, and sprinkle extra lemon zest on top.
Notes
Chill overnight for enhanced creaminess. Experiment with the sugar level to suit your taste.
