  • Ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon (1 g)
  • Ground cloves, 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g)
  • Orange juice, 1/4 cup (60 ml)
  • Salt, 1/2 teaspoon (3 g)
  • Black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Place the ham in a roasting pan.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine maple syrup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, orange juice, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Stir the mixture until smooth and well combined.
  5. Pour half of the glaze over the ham, ensuring it is evenly covered.
  6. Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil.
  7. Bake the ham in the preheated oven for 1.5 hours.
  8. Remove the foil and pour the remaining glaze over the ham.
  9. Increase the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C).
  10. Continue baking for an additional 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
  11. Check that the internal temperature of the ham reaches 140°F (60°C).
  12. Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  13. Slice the ham and serve warm.
