Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (450 g, total)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (60 ml)
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Dijon mustard
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
Instructions
- Set your oven to 375°F and cover a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic by whisking them together.
- Lay the salmon fillets on the prepared baking tray and drizzle about one-third of the maple mixture over them, saving the remainder for later.
- Place the salmon in the oven and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, adding more of the glaze after the first 10 minutes. Once the salmon is fully cooked, take it out of the oven and pour the remaining glaze over the top before serving.
Notes
- Consider adding extra cloves of garlic to the glaze for a bolder flavor.
- Use dark maple syrup to enhance the sweetness of the dish.
- Marinate the salmon in the glaze before cooking to infuse the flavors throughout.
