Ingredients

- 1 cup warm milk

Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Combine warm milk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Mix wet and dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
- Let dough rise for 1 hour.
- Roll dough and cut into small bite-sized pieces.
- Heat oil to 350°F in a deep pot or fryer.
- Fry doughnuts until golden brown (2-3 minutes per side).
- Drain on paper towels and add desired toppings.
Notes
- Can be prepared up to 24 hours in advance.
- Add glazes or toppings within a few hours of serving.
- Use vegetable, canola, or peanut oil for best results.
- Can be made in an air fryer at 350°F for 5-7 minutes.
- Test doneness by cutting open one doughnut – interior should be light and fluffy.
