Ingredients

- For the Streusel Topping:
- All-purpose flour: 1/2 cup (65g)
- Brown sugar: 1/3 cup (67g)
- Cinnamon: 1/2 teaspoon (1g)
- Butter: 1/4 cup (56g), melted
- For the Maple Glaze:
- Powdered sugar: 1/2 cup (60g)
- Maple syrup: 2 tablespoons (30ml)
- Milk: 1 tablespoon (15ml)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine 1 3/4 cups flour, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon ginger, and 1/4 teaspoon cloves.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup pumpkin puree, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/4 cup milk until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- To make the streusel topping, combine 1/2 cup flour, 1/3 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Stir in 1/4 cup melted butter until the mixture is crumbly.
- Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the pumpkin bread batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool completely.
- While the bread cools, make the maple glaze by whisking together 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, and 1 tablespoon milk in a small bowl.
- Drizzle the maple glaze over the cooled pumpkin bread.
- Allow the glaze to set before slicing and serving.
