Description

A comforting and flavorful dish featuring tender flank steak marinated in a savory sauce, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips.
  2. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic.
  3. Marinate the flank steak in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add the marinated beef, and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add green onions and stir-fry for another minute.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve with steamed rice or noodles.

Notes

Allow beef to marinate longer for deeper flavor. Consider adding vegetables like bell peppers for extra nutrition.
