Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
- Add sprinkles if desired.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are slightly golden.
- Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack.
Notes
- Look for slightly golden edges with centers that appear set but still soft.
- Cookies will continue to firm up as they cool.
- Can be used for simple cut-out shapes.
