Ingredients

- 3 cups of all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons of coarse sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups of warm water (about 110°F)
Instructions
- Mix the flour, salt, and yeast gently in a large bowl.
- Pour in the warm water and stir until the mixture is combined.
- Cover the bowl and let it rise at room temperature for 3 to 4 hours.
- Shape the dough into a ball and place it on parchment paper.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F with a Dutch oven inside.
- Lift the dough with the parchment into the hot pot and cover with the lid.
- Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for another 12 to 15 minutes.
- Cool the bread on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
For best results, allow for longer fermentation times. Consider adding herbs or spices for additional flavor.
