Description

A simple and delicious no-knead bread recipe that results in a crusty artisan loaf with minimal effort.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons of coarse sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups of warm water (about 110°F)

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, salt, and yeast gently in a large bowl.
  2. Pour in the warm water and stir until the mixture is combined.
  3. Cover the bowl and let it rise at room temperature for 3 to 4 hours.
  4. Shape the dough into a ball and place it on parchment paper.
  5. Preheat your oven to 450°F with a Dutch oven inside.
  6. Lift the dough with the parchment into the hot pot and cover with the lid.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for another 12 to 15 minutes.
  8. Cool the bread on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

For best results, allow for longer fermentation times. Consider adding herbs or spices for additional flavor.
