Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rice, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and water. Stir until well-mixed.
  3. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour in the rice and soup mixture, spreading it evenly.
  4. Place the chicken breasts on top of the mixture and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the chicken.
  6. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  7. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  8. Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
