Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup M&Ms
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine oats, flaxseed, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, honey, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Fold in the M&Ms.
  6. Form the mixture into 12 bite-sized balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown on the edges.
  8. Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
