- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until translucent.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking until fragrant.
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Add pasta shells and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook until pasta is tender.
- Stir in shredded cheese until melted and sauce is creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.

- Can be made up to 2 days ahead – slightly undercook pasta if planning to reheat.
- For dairy-free version, use full-fat coconut milk and dairy-free cheese alternatives.
- Add vegetables like spinach, peas, or bell peppers in the last few minutes of cooking.
