Description

A delicious one-pot meal combining sirloin steak, penne pasta, and a sweet and spicy buffalo sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb penne pasta, uncooked
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced steak; cook for 3–4 minutes until browned.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Stir in minced garlic; cook for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Add beef broth, heavy cream, buffalo sauce, honey, and soy sauce; bring to a boil.
  6. Stir in the uncooked penne pasta; reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Remove from heat; stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  8. Serve hot topped with green onions and red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

Use freshly minced garlic for maximum flavor and consider experimenting with different pasta shapes.
