- 1 lb chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- Oil for frying
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip chicken pieces in flour, then in egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the chicken and set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a boil.
- Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then add to the sauce to thicken.
- Add the fried chicken to the sauce and toss to coat.
- Serve garnished with green onions.
