  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, coat chicken pieces with cornstarch and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken pieces to the pan, cooking until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from pan.
  4. In the same pan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add cooked chicken back to the pan, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
