- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, coat chicken pieces with cornstarch and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add chicken pieces to the pan, cooking until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from pan.
- In the same pan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.
- Add cooked chicken back to the pan, tossing to coat in the sauce.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
