Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and scrub the russet potatoes under running water.
- Pat them dry with a towel.
- Prick each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape.
- Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
- Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for about 45-60 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and a fork easily pierces the flesh.
- Remove from the oven, let them cool slightly, then serve hot.
