Description
Delicious homemade Parmesan bread bites made with a flavorful garlic butter and topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 cups flour (bread flour for a chewier bite or all-purpose flour for a softer texture)
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ¼ + ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 2–3 cloves minced garlic or 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley or 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (minced)
- 4–6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Grease a large sheet pan with olive oil or non-stick cooking spray.
- Prepare your pizza dough according to your recipe and allow it to rise until it doubles in size.
- Once risen, punch down the dough gently and transfer it to a floured surface.
- Cut the dough into approximately 1-inch bite-sized pieces.
- Place the cut pieces on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 1 inch of space between each piece.
- Wrap the baking sheet with a clean kitchen towel and let rest for about 30 minutes.
- Prepare the garlic butter by mixing the butter, minced garlic, salt, Italian seasoning, and parsley in a bowl until creamy.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brush the garlic butter generously over each dough bite and bake for around 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before sprinkling with grated Parmesan.
Notes
For best results, use warm water to activate the yeast and ensure your oven is preheated before baking.
