Description

Delicious homemade Parmesan bread bites made with a flavorful garlic butter and topped with grated Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 34 cups flour (bread flour for a chewier bite or all-purpose flour for a softer texture)
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ + ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 23 cloves minced garlic or 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley or 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (minced)
  • 46 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Grease a large sheet pan with olive oil or non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Prepare your pizza dough according to your recipe and allow it to rise until it doubles in size.
  3. Once risen, punch down the dough gently and transfer it to a floured surface.
  4. Cut the dough into approximately 1-inch bite-sized pieces.
  5. Place the cut pieces on the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 1 inch of space between each piece.
  6. Wrap the baking sheet with a clean kitchen towel and let rest for about 30 minutes.
  7. Prepare the garlic butter by mixing the butter, minced garlic, salt, Italian seasoning, and parsley in a bowl until creamy.
  8. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  9. Brush the garlic butter generously over each dough bite and bake for around 20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before sprinkling with grated Parmesan.

Notes

For best results, use warm water to activate the yeast and ensure your oven is preheated before baking.
