Description

A delicious sweet and salty snack mix combining popcorn, pretzels, and peanut butter cups with a white chocolate coating – perfect for parties or homemade gifts!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 cups air-popped popcorn
  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 1 cup mini peanut butter cups, halved
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup Reese’s Pieces (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare a large baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the popcorn and pretzels.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler, carefully melt the white chocolate, stirring frequently to prevent seizing.
  4. Once the white chocolate is melted, stir in the peanut butter and salt until smooth.
  5. Pour the white chocolate mixture over the popcorn and pretzels, stirring gently to coat evenly.
  6. Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and immediately sprinkle with halved peanut butter cups and Reese’s Pieces if using.
  7. Allow to cool completely at room temperature until the chocolate has hardened, about 30-45 minutes.
  8. Break into clusters and store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • Make sure all popcorn kernels are removed before mixing.
  • For best results, use freshly popped popcorn with no butter or salt added.
  • You can substitute dark or milk chocolate if preferred.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
