- 2 cups mixed bell peppers, chopped
- 1 medium sweet onion, sliced
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with water
Instructions
- Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips against the grain. Chop the bell peppers and slice the onion.
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, minced garlic, and the cornstarch mixture. Marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add oil. Cook the marinated beef until browned, about 2 minutes per side.
- Add the bell peppers and onion to the skillet; stir-fry until the vegetables are tender yet crisp, about 3 minutes.
- Pour the remaining marinade into the pan and let it simmer until thickened, about 1 minute. Serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, use fresh, well-cut sirloin and consider marinating the beef for up to an hour for deeper flavors.
