Description

Delicious and comforting pizza pot pies that combine classic pizza flavors with the heartiness of pot pies. Perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade pizza dough)
  • 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce or pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or your choice of toppings such as sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, olives)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Olive oil for brushing (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease ramekins.
  2. Roll out pizza dough to 1/8 inch thickness and cut into circles or squares.
  3. Press dough into the bottom and sides of each ramekin.
  4. Spoon 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce into each crust.
  5. Add 2-3 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Add pepperoni or your choice of toppings.
  7. Sprinkle grated Parmesan, oregano, basil, garlic powder, and optional red pepper flakes on top.
  8. Top with more mozzarella cheese and fold the dough over the filling.
  9. Brush the tops with olive oil.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  11. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping. Experiment with different toppings for variety.
