- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Gruyère)

Instructions
- Preheat the toaster oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a small baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish, then sprinkle with minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pour half of the heavy cream over the potatoes and sprinkle half of the cheese on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cream, and cheese.
- If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for added crunch.
- Bake in the toaster oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
