Ingredients
- – 226g cream cheese, softened (1 cup)
- – 28g butter, softened (2 tbsp)
- – 226g cheddar cheese, finely grated (8 oz)
- – 0.6g garlic powder (1/4 tsp)
- – 0.6g onion powder (1/4 tsp)
- – 0.6g pepper (1/4 tsp)
- – 1.2g smoked paprika (1/2 tsp)
- – 120g crushed cheese crackers, such as Cheez-Its (1 cup)
- – 1 bell pepper stem
Instructions
- Put the softened cream cheese, butter, finely grated cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and smoked paprika into a mixing bowl.
- Blend together until the mixture is completely uniform.
- Transfer the cheese mixture onto a large sheet of plastic wrap. Enclose the mixture in the wrap, molding it into a spherical shape. Wrap it again with another layer of plastic wrap and secure it with two wide rubber bands on opposite sides to form a pumpkin-like ribbed shape.
- Refrigerate the cheese ball for a minimum of two hours. Once chilled, take off the rubber bands and remove the plastic wrap. Spread the crushed cheese crackers on a plate and coat the cheese ball by rolling it in the crumbs.
- Insert the bell pepper stem into the top of the cheese ball for garnish. Pair with crackers when serving.
