Instructions

- Gradually add the flour to the mixture, stirring until a dough forms.

- Divide the dough into four equal parts.
- Roll each part into a long rope about 1/2 inch thick.
- Cut the ropes into 1-inch pieces to form the gnocchi.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the gnocchi to the boiling water in batches.
- Cook until the gnocchi float to the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the gnocchi with a slotted spoon and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the sage leaves to the melted butter and cook until crispy.
- Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet.

- Season with black pepper to taste.
