Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, salt, ground nutmeg, and egg.
  2. Gradually add the flour to the mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead gently until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into four equal parts.
  5. Roll each part into a long rope about 1/2 inch thick.
  6. Cut the ropes into 1-inch pieces to form the gnocchi.
