  • 3 cups powdered sugar (360 g)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  3. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, 1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  4. Add 1/2 cup of melted butter and 2 large eggs to the dry ingredients.
  5. Mix until a dough forms.
  6. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  7. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  8. Add the remaining 2 eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  9. Mix in the can of pumpkin puree and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  10. Add 3 cups of powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg to the mixture.
  11. Pour in the remaining 1/2 cup of melted butter and mix until smooth.
  12. Pour the pumpkin mixture over the dough in the baking pan.
  13. Spread the mixture evenly with a spatula.
  14. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-50 minutes, or until set but still slightly gooey in the center.
