Ingredients

Scale
  • “`
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon (6 ml) s pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 can (16.3 oz (462 g)) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grand s!™ Flaky Layers Honey Butter Biscuits (8 Count)
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) canned pumpkin pie mix (not plain pumpkin)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) powdered sugar
  • 2 to 3 teaspoon (13 ml) s milk
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla
  • “`

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly coat a 9×5-inch loaf pan with non-stick spray. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar with 1 teaspoon of the pumpkin pie spice.
  2. Open the can of biscuits and divide them into 8 portions. Split each portion into 2 halves, resulting in 16 biscuit pieces. Use a brush to coat one side of each piece with melted butter. Spread a little less than a tablespoon of pumpkin pie mix on each piece. Dust the pieces with the sugar and spice mixture.
  3. Group the biscuit pieces into 4 piles, each containing 4 pieces. Arrange these stacks on their edges in the loaf pan, ensuring the uncoated sides face the pan’s ends.
  4. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the loaf achieves a rich golden color and is thoroughly cooked in the center.
  5. Allow the bread to cool for 10 minutes, then invert the pan onto a serving plate. In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and the remaining 1/4 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice until the mixture is thin enough to drizzle. Pour the glaze over the warm loaf. Serve immediately while warm.
