Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (480 ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (240 ml) mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup (240 ml) pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon (2 g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1 g) ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g) ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g) ground cloves
  • 2 cups (480 ml) brewed coffee, cooled
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, pumpkin puree, and powdered sugar.
  3. Add vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves to the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until smooth.
  5. Pour the cooled coffee into a shallow dish.
  6. Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the coffee, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
  7. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish.
  8. Spread half of the pumpkin-mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  9. Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers on top of the pumpkin mixture.
  10. Spread the remaining pumpkin-mascarpone mixture over the second layer of ladyfingers.
  11. Smooth the top with a spatula for an even surface.
  12. Dust the top generously with cocoa powder.
  13. Refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
  14. Serve chilled, cutting into squares as needed.

Notes

  • Consider using freshly brewed espresso for a more intense flavor when dipping the ladyfingers.
  • Use a deep dish to accommodate multiple layers of ladyfingers and pumpkin-mascarpone mixture.
  • Experiment with spices like cardamom or allspice to give a unique twist to the traditional tiramisu taste.
