Discover how to make Quick and Easy Butter Piped Cookies with our step-by-step guide. Perfect for any occasion, these melt-in-your-mouth treats are ready in no time!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) butter room temperature
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) almond extract
  • 2 cup (480 ml) s flour
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml). milk
  • Large star tip (at least .5″ wide)
  • Frosting bag

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, blend butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and almond extract with an electric mixer until the mixture is light and airy. Ensure the butter is at room temperature.
  3. Incorporate the flour into the mixture and blend until smooth.
  4. Pour in the milk and continue mixing. The dough may seem crumbly initially, but it will come together.
  5. Use a rubber spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl and press the dough into a cohesive mass.
  6. Prepare a strong pastry bag with a wide star tip. If using a disposable bag, consider doubling it for extra support. Fill the bag with several spoonfuls of dough, ideally only halfway, to make piping easier. Refill as needed.
  7. On a baking sheet without grease (or lined with a silicone mat), pipe the dough into rosette shapes, ensuring a 2-inch gap between each cookie.
  8. Bake the cookies for 15 minutes until the edges are lightly browned. Let them cool for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
