Ingredients
Scale

- 3/4 cup (180 ml) powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) almond extract
- 2 cup (480 ml) s flour
- 2 Tbsp (30 ml). milk
- Large star tip (at least .5″ wide)
- Frosting bag
Instructions
- Set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large mixing bowl, blend butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and almond extract with an electric mixer until the mixture is light and airy. Ensure the butter is at room temperature.
- Incorporate the flour into the mixture and blend until smooth.
- Pour in the milk and continue mixing. The dough may seem crumbly initially, but it will come together.
- Use a rubber spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl and press the dough into a cohesive mass.
- Prepare a strong pastry bag with a wide star tip. If using a disposable bag, consider doubling it for extra support. Fill the bag with several spoonfuls of dough, ideally only halfway, to make piping easier. Refill as needed.
- On a baking sheet without grease (or lined with a silicone mat), pipe the dough into rosette shapes, ensuring a 2-inch gap between each cookie.
- Bake the cookies for 15 minutes until the edges are lightly browned. Let them cool for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
