Ingredients

- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thin
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan over high heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger and sauté briefly.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the pan and cook until browned; then remove from the pan.
- Add sliced onion to the same pan and stir-fry until translucent.
- Return the beef to the pan and mix thouroughly.
- Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce, tossing everything to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.

For optimal results, avoid overcrowding the pan and maintain high heat throughout cooking.
