Description

A quick and flavorful beef stir fry featuring tender sirloin, crisp vegetables and savory sauces, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thin
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan over high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger and sauté briefly.
  3. Add the thinly sliced beef to the pan and cook until browned; then remove from the pan.
  4. Add sliced onion to the same pan and stir-fry until translucent.
  5. Return the beef to the pan and mix thouroughly.
  6. Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce, tossing everything to combine.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.
