- 1 lb boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Cooked rice or naan for serving
Instructions
- In a medium-sized pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger, stirring until fragrant.
- Stir in garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and chili powder, cooking for about 1 minute.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
- Pour in the tomato sauce, reduce heat, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and yogurt, thickening the sauce. Season with salt and garnish with cilantro.
- Serve with cooked rice or naan.
