Description

A unique twist on a classic favorite, these rice paper crab rangoons feature a creamy filling wrapped in crispy rice paper for a delightful appetizer.

Ingredients

  • Rice paper wrappers
  • Cream cheese (softened)
  • Crab meat (fresh or canned)
  • Green onions (finely chopped)
  • Soy sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, chopped green onions, and soy sauce. Stir until well combined.
  2. Soak each rice paper wrapper in warm water for about 10-15 seconds until pliable.
  3. Lay a soaked wrapper on a clean surface. Place one tablespoon of filling in the center. Fold in the edges like an envelope and seal tightly.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange filled rangoons on a lined baking sheet, lightly spray or brush with oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes until they turn golden brown and crispy.

Notes

Serve immediately after baking for maximum crispiness. Pair with soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, or a spicy mayo.
