Description

A comforting and flavorful dish featuring tender salmon fillets layered with sliced potatoes and rich heavy cream.


Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 large potatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes, followed by the onion and garlic.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on top of the vegetables.
  4. Pour the heavy cream over the top, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the salmon is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh dill or parsley before serving.

Notes

For a crispy top, broil the dish for a few minutes after baking. Feel free to add your favorite herbs or spices for an extra layer of flavor.
