- 1 pound baby red and yellow potatoes
- 3 cloves garlic, freshly minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 pound sirloin steak
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon pepper
- Additional fresh herbs (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat.
- Melt the unsalted butter and olive oil together until foamy.
- Toss in the chopped potatoes, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and sauté until golden brown and tender.
- Add minced garlic and herbs into the skillet, stirring until fragrant.
- Remove the potato mixture and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add sirloin steak, seasoned with salt and pepper.
- Cook until seared and cooked to your preferred doneness, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Return the potato mixture to the skillet and combine with the steak, ensuring a blend of all flavors.
- Take off the heat, garnish with additional fresh herbs, and serve hot.
Notes
For best results, use room-temperature steak and allow it to rest after cooking.
