  • 1 pound sirloin steak
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper
  • Additional fresh herbs (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter and olive oil together until foamy.
  3. Toss in the chopped potatoes, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and sauté until golden brown and tender.
  4. Add minced garlic and herbs into the skillet, stirring until fragrant.
  5. Remove the potato mixture and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add sirloin steak, seasoned with salt and pepper.
  7. Cook until seared and cooked to your preferred doneness, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  8. Return the potato mixture to the skillet and combine with the steak, ensuring a blend of all flavors.
  9. Take off the heat, garnish with additional fresh herbs, and serve hot.
