- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth

Instructions
- In a large pot, melt half of the butter over medium heat.
- Add rice and stir to coat with butter.
- Pour in the broth and add salt.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
- Cover and simmer for 18-20 minutes until rice is tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in remaining butter.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

- Can be made in a rice cooker – add all ingredients and use white rice setting.
