Ingredients

  • 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 recipe bang bang sauce (or 1 cup store-bought)
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the kosher salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Apply the seasoning mixture evenly to the chicken.
  3. In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil. Once hot, add the chicken thighs.
  4. Cook the chicken for 5 minutes before flipping.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and place it on a plate; tent to keep warm.
  7. Pour the bang bang sauce into the skillet, stirring and scraping up the flavorful brown bits from the bottom. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  8. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, coating each piece with the sauce.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.

Notes

Ensure your chicken is at room temperature before cooking for even results. Do not overcrowd the skillet for proper browning.
