- 1 package (9 oz) refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Brown ground beef, breaking it into small pieces.
- Add onions, mushrooms, and garlic; sauté until vegetables are soft.
- Pour in beef broth and cream, stirring to combine.
- Add tortellini and simmer for 8-10 minutes until pasta is cooked.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and oregano, season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for beef if preferred.
- Fresh tortellini works best, but frozen can be used with adjusted cooking time.
