Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 can biscuit dough
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add onions and bell peppers to the skillet, cooking until softened.
- Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer biscuit pieces, then top with the sloppy joe mixture.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until biscuits are golden.
- Optional: sprinkle cheddar cheese on top in the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Serve warm.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using a dash of smoked paprika or cumin. Serve with pickles or coleslaw.
