Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, place the beef chuck roast and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, sliced carrots, celery, beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, add the egg noodles to the slow cooker and stir well.
  5. Once the noodles are cooked, shred the beef in the broth.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Choose good-quality beef chuck roast for better flavor. Additional vegetables or herbs can be added for variety.
