  • 1 1/2 teaspoons (8 ml) baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla bean paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) cinnamon (such as Supreme Saigon®)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare a loaf pan by coating it with grease and a dusting of flour.
  2. In a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, place the flour, sugar, milk, chocolate chips, softened beef tallow, egg, baking powder, vanilla bean paste, cinnamon, and salt. Mix on a low setting for half a minute, ensuring to scrape the sides of the bowl continuously. Increase to a high setting and continue mixing for 3 minutes, pausing occasionally to scrape the bowl.
  3. Transfer the batter into the prepped loaf pan.
  4. Place in the oven and bake until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean, approximately 1 hour. Allow to cool on a wire rack.
