S’mores Hand Pies

Description

Delicious handheld desserts that combine the classic flavors of s’mores with a flaky pastry crust, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crusts and cut into squares or circles.
  3. In a bowl, mix the marshmallows, chocolate chips, and crushed graham crackers.
  4. Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of each pie crust piece.
  5. Fold the crust over to form a pocket and pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Beat the egg with the water and brush the mixture over the top of each hand pie.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

Use a mix of dark and milk chocolate chips for a richer flavor. Consider adding a drizzle of chocolate sauce on top for presentation.
