  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup frozen peas (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.
  4. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream until well combined.
  6. Mix in the cooked egg noodles and peas (if using).
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  8. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
